Safe sites, every day.
Every job is planned so that our team, our subcontractors, your family and your neighbours stay safe while we build.
Overseen personally, on every site.
Our director, Jermaine Newton, holds a Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management and leads health and safety on all our sites.
Health & safety is a legal requirement, but for us it is also part of doing the job properly.

CDM 2015 compliance
Every site is run in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. As a homeowner, your client duties under CDM normally pass to us, and Newton Extensions Ltd acts as Principal Contractor whenever more than one contractor works on the job.
Risk assessments & method statements
We follow a systematic approach to identify hazards, assess risks and implement control measures before work begins on each phase.

Trained and supervised team
Our team is trained, supervised and equipped with the right tools and personal protective equipment to carry out work safely.
Safe, tidy sites
Work areas are tidied every day and walkways are kept clear. Wherever the job allows, we screen them off from the rest of your home.
Public and neighbour safety
We look after everyone near the site, your household and neighbours included, as carefully as our own team, whether around the scaffolding and skip or when deliveries arrive.
Insured
Public Liability and Employers’ Liability insurance is in place. Certificates are available on request.
